“Alack ! May has come and gone”

“Alack ! May has come and gone “

May has come and gone

And so shall June , pass like a flone

This yeartide should’ve been the testimonial

For you vowed me, of the holy conflux

Two rivers shall meet , inholding the alike of genus

You avowed of percolating through rocks

and all other hindering blocks

But you altered your way to muddle up with drain

And I was left parched with my remnant grains

Alack !  May has come and gone

And so shall June pass like a flone

THE NOCTURNAL MORTAL

“I beseech the Lord”

“I beseech the Lord”

Eventually that day arrived

For which I relentlessly strove and throve

By asundering the manacles of that fiery stove

By passing every single test, I deduced that dire quest

I paved my way through that dreary path

To beseech that astounding bath

I gave up my all to see you smile

As I got deceived by your whimsical guile

I grasped you, as I passed every flame

Little did I know ,It was a mere game

I beseech the Lord ,to tell the fault of mine

Why i turned out to be , mere puppet of thine ?

THE NOCTURNAL MORTAL

“Stop for a while”

“Stop for a while”

O dear, stop for a while

Swim to the shore of that dreary Nile,

You still have to trek a mile.

Before they bore you bare-faced on the bier,

Before your carcass get lit up on a pyre

O dear, stop for a while

Wait a bit, rest for a while

You still have to trek a mile.

Before your skin turns out pale,

Before your soul ought to be frail,

Don’t asunder yourself

Don’t be fragile

This world is the astounding web of guile

O dear , stop for a while

You still have to trek a mile.
